Mission Statement
Formed as a non-profit organization in the late 1990s, FAB is made up of local business owners and community advocates. The primary focus of FAB is to promote a successful business community for its members and help foster a harmonious balance between the businesses and the quality of life for local residents.
For Potential Members
Would You Like to Join FAB?
We generally meet once a month on the second Thursday of the month. Our meetings take place at Tides and start with a 6 p.m. social at the bar at Blu. Then, we move to the second-floor ballroom for a 6:30 p.m. meeting start.
You’re eligible to become a member if you meet one of the three qualifications below.
(1) Are the owner or chosen representative of a Folly Beach Business that possesses a Folly Beach Business License and conducts commerce on Folly Beach or
(2) Are a resident of the City of Folly Beach that owns a business not located on Folly but that regularly conducts business on Folly Beach or
(3) Are an allied member (without voting rights), such as a non-profit or other business entity not meeting the requirements above that has an interest in the Folly Business Community.
Joining FAB is Easy
Just complete these three steps:
(1) Complete the ONLINE MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION (click here). If you would rather be old-school, download the membership application below and bring it to our next meeting!
(2) Once complete, return the application to secretary4fab@gmail.com
(3) Pay the $100 annual FAB membership dues using one of the following methods:
