New Year’s Eve: Wednesday, December 31, 2025

Join us on the beach for Folly’s annual New Year’s Eve Fireworks Show starting at 9pm. A spectacular, family-friendly show will light up the night sky!

Viewing is available from all along the beach and even throughout Center Street. Please remember to celebrate responsibly and respect the beach and our wildlife by removing any trash and other items you bring with you.

Then, at 10pm, Center Street will close to auto traffic so revelers can flow out into the street to watch our famous Folly Beach Flip-Flop Drop! At midnight, the huge, sparkly flip-flops will descend to mark the stroke of midnight and the beginning of the new year.
