Morning Beach Walk at the County Park

Start the day with a sunrise stroll at Folly Beach County Park. Dogs are welcome on-leash before 10 a.m. and after 6 p.m. during peak season (May 1–Sept 30), and anytime during the off-season.

Breakfast at The Lost Dog Cafe

This local favorite welcomes dogs on the patio and even offers water bowls and the occasional bacon strip for furry guests.

Midday Break & Chill at the Cottage or Porch

After a busy morning, take a break. Let your pup nap in the shade, cool off indoors, or lounge beside you on a breezy porch with a frozen treat.

Off-Leash Fun at the Bark Park

Head to Folly’s fenced-in dog park at 512 East Erie Ave. for safe, shaded off-leash fun. It’s a great mingling location to meet local Folly dogs and other traveling canines.

Stroll the Shops Along Center Street

Many local shops welcome well-behaved dogs or have water bowls outside. Pick up a beachy bandana or dog treat at a boutique.

Dinner at Chico Feo or Taco Boy

End your evening on a patio with live music and tacos. Your pup will love relaxing under the string lights while you sip something local. Both Taco Boy and Chico Feo fit the bill.

Catch the Sunset at Folly River Park

Cap off the day with golden hour on the river. The park includes pavilions, picnic tables, swings, and a water station. Peaceful, scenic, and the perfect cooldown for you and your four-legged friend. The sunsets on this side of the island are breathtaking.
