March Fishing Forecast

Charter fishing in Folly Beach fishing has been great the past few weeks. Deep Sea fishing, nearshore fishing and inshore fishing has benefited from a very mild winter and warm temperatures. Inshore charter fishing in Folly Beach is a great option this time of year. The Redfish, Speckled Trout and Black Drum are feeding as our waters warm and baitfish move into the system. Fish have been eager to eat our live minnows and shrimp. For those who wish to cast lures, we have had great success on smaller plastics and jigs fished around oyster beds and docks. The other nice thing about spring is we typically can fish close to our pickup location. Or perhaps we make one long run and fish an area for several hours. The goal is to spend more time fishing rather than driving, and calm waters are the norm for inshore fishing.

Deep Sea Charter Fishing Folly Beach have been targeting assorted snapper, Wahoo, King Mackerel, Sea Bass and too many other species to mention. Nearshore fishing at the reefs and wrecks just off the beach have been catching Black Drum, Weakfish, Bluefish, Bull Redfish and Sheepshead. When considering your options keep in mind that deep sea fishing trips are more subject to weather conditions both inland and out to sea.
