A festival that celebrates all of the deliciousness available on Folly Beach. Eat and drink your way through Folly and enjoy live music, street vendors, and more!
SEA & SAND FESTIVAL
February 22-23, 2025
The longest-running annual event on Folly Beach, Sea & Sand, features an artisan & food-focused street closure event full of fun, music, and ocean breezes.
JULY 4th Display
July 4, 2025
Celebrate our great country on Folly Beach with a 4th of July display from the beach just after the sun goes down. Get here early and enjoy some food and beverages in our restaurants before the show.
MERMAIDS & MATEYS
October 4, 2025
Ahoy, friends! Our popular Folly Beach Mermaids & Mateys Event is back for 2025. Round up the buccaneers, strap on a tail (if that’s your thing), and celebrate the sea and all its treasures with us.
CHRISTMAS PARADE
December 2025
Santa parades through the center of his favorite beach town. Follow the parade down to Folly River Park to meet him and tell him your Christmas wishes.
NEW YEAR’S EVE
DRONE SHOW & FLIP-FLOP DROP
December 31, 2025
Join us for our first-ever New Year’s Eve DRONE SHOW on the beach at 7pm. Then, drop a ball on New Year’s Eve? Not on Folly. Gather on Center Street to watch the giant pair of glittery flip-flops descend to mark the stroke of midnight.
BILL MURRAY POLAR PLUNGE
January 1, 2026
Attendees start the New Year with a plunge into the (not so) cold Atlantic while dressed as their favorite Bill character. Followed by a little hair-of-the-dog.
