The 25th Annual Folly Beach Sea & Sand Festival is coming to Folly Beach this spring, bringing along a weekend of family-friendly events April 10-12. The Sea & Sand Festival is Folly Beach’s longest-running, largest and most family-friendly festival.
The festival kicks off on Friday, April 10 with the 2nd Annual Miss Sea & Sand Festival Pageant. Winners in various age groups will have the opportunity to wear their crowns and sashes during the next two days of the festival.
On Saturday, April 11 the festival continues with the Folly Wahini Classic Surfing Competition and the Coffin Island 5k Race. In addition, a street party will be held on Center Street, boasting several attractions include 80 local food and art vendors, a silent auction, live music on two stages, jump castles carnival games and more.

The second annual Folly Beach Wine & Sign will be Saturday, April 25, 2015 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. on the Folly Beach Pier, Folly Beach, SC to benefit the Diann Shaddox Foundation to raise money for Essential Tremor. The event admission is free to the public and is family friendly.
Have fun in the sun on the stunning Folly Beach Pier, Folly Beach, South Carolina. Sip a glass of wine, talk, meet some wonderful authors and artists, listen to live music, and enjoy delicious food. Bask in the beautiful scenery of sandy beaches, cool ocean breezes, and views of the great Atlantic Ocean.
The Diann Shaddox Foundation is an accredited Non-Profit 501c(3) organization committed to find a cause and cure for Essential Tremor, the largest movement disorder. Diann Shaddox Foundation is dedicated to educate and increase awareness to the world about people living every day with Essential Tremor and to donate research grants to doctors to find a cure.
What is Essential Tremor? Essential Tremor is a progressive neurological condition that causes a rhythmic trembling of the hands, head, voice, legs, or body. About 10 million Americans have Essential Tremor including children. That’s about 5% of all people in the United States. For comparison sake, 7.8% of the population have some type of diabetes.
