One of the most iconic elements of Folly Beach has to be the Edwin S. Taylor Folly Beach Fishing Pier. Spanning 1,045 feet into the vast Atlantic Ocean, the Pier offers incredible views, not to mention exceptional salt water fishing. The recognizable Pier stretches 25 feet wide and 23 feet above sea level and is the second largest on the east coast. The Pier offers oceanfront dining at Pier 101, beach access, restrooms, rod rentals and an entire season of fishing tournaments. Built in 1931, it stands today as one of the most important parts of our beloved Folly Beach.
