Kids ages 6-15 can register online at http://charlestonperformingarts.org/folly-beach. Parents can just sign up their kids for a day or the whole week! Its open to tourists as well. So that way, mom and dad can have a relaxing mid-morming/mid afternoon together.
The theme for this summer is Broadway & the Beach. It has the best of both worlds: marine biology and musical theatre. Students will be learning all about marine life while having a musical theatre twist to it. Everyday will be a new topic about a marine mammal and we will do arts and crafts, songs, dances, and little readings from The Little Mermaid to follow with the lesson plan.
