The Coffin Island Loot Route is a Scavenger Hunt that will take place all across Folly Beach! This competition will take place from Friday, Feb 26th through Wednesday, March 10th. The more clues you solve, the more points you earn, and the more prizes you are eligible to receive!

The Treasure Map and all associated clues will be emailed to all registrants on Friday, Feb. 26th at 10am. Registrations after that date will receive the map and clue locations in their confirmation email.

You can register a team of up to 4 people! Make sure to have the team captain register first and create a team name and then have the remaining team members register under that team name. Children under 12 years of age can be added to any team free of charge.

Each team will be assigned a Google photo album to upload their clues. Your folder will be named after your team and will be sent to you within 48 hours of your team registration. You will submit the photos of clues you solve to this folder. If uploading the photos is not possible, you can send the photos via Facebook Messenger to the Visit Folly Facebook page or to the email address found in the confirmation email.

If all clues are solved it is possible to earn a maximum of 5000 points!

  • 3800 Points and more – Half-day moped rental, hand-made jewelry, $75 in dining gift cards and swag
  • 2800 Points and more – Kayak or SUP rental, $50 in dining gift cards and swag
